Promotion & Marketing

Creating Infectious Excitement
During the final year of my training, I had the opportunity to take on the role of Promotion and Marketing for two final year shows, Cloud Nine and Season's Greetings. Without any guidance, it was my responsibility to tell the world about these upcoming productions, and create excitement for them online.
Using a self-taught knowledge of creating websites, along with social networks, I quickly found ways to engage people online and gain both their attention and support - from individuals to local businesses and even national brands.
Never done before at the Arts University Bournemouth, each production now had its own website and its own identity, formed around each play, and the online offerings became a constant feed of news, information, updates and photos to promote the shows.
When Season's Greetings came around, which I was also starring in, I had managed to garner support from two huge news websites in the region, who agreed to become our Press Partners and generously reviewed the production, publishing it across their media channels and beyond.
Everything you see across the websites (right) and social media content (below) is a result of my attempts to create infectious excitement. I am proud to report the productions sold out.
